Steve Ellard founded Steven M. Ellard, CPA in 1990. He is responsible for overall practice management, concentrating on client relations, business development, and staff development. Steve believes in taking a proactive approach to client service—refocusing business owners on the future, instead of the past. While many accountants simply prepare tax returns and report back on prior year performance, Steve is committed to helping clients understand what is happening today, and how it impacts their financial future.
Prior to establishing his own firm, Steve worked at William J. Connelly, CPA, where he focused on auditing and tax preparation for large construction firms in the metro Boston area.
Steve earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Rhode Island College and is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Active in his local community, Steve supports the Brewster Bayside Skippers, Brewster Whitecaps Baseball Club, Dream Day on Cape Cod, and Nauset Youth Basketball Club.
Steve is married with 4 children and two golden retrievers. Outside of to the office Steve enjoys spending time with his family at the beach or the children’s various sporting events
